THOR-AV-5F
- Standard ATD 482-0000-PR
Our cutting-edge THOR-AV 5F is an enhanced version of the THOR 5th Female dummy, featuring a refined design that better represents the female form in a crash scenario – either in a traditional vehicle seat or in an autonomous vehicle seating environment. This new dummy also offers upgraded instrumentation to allow improved data collection.
The development phase for THOR-AV 5F began in 2019 and will continue through 2024. During this time, it will undergo hardware prototyping, biofidelity testing and performance evaluation in the customer AV environment, dummy evaluation and development of injury criteria. Evaluations by NHTSA and NCAP organizations will be carried out during the development process.
